Long Overdue...(Road Trip)

Okey dokey, so this post is very long overdue. And, I'm not going to post all the amazing details that I originally planned to. If you really really want to be bored to tears with all of our super cool adventures- just let me know. Otherwise, In a nutshell: We drove across the country this summer! It was great. We started in Yellowstone with Steve's family, then drove out to see Steve's Mission (West Virginia), and my cousins in DC. Then- back we came. We made several AWESOME stops along the way, and we're already excited for our next big trip... sometime...
So- here's our grand course--

Several of the stops were simply KOA stops- places to sleep. But a few fun places we went were:
1- Yellowstone. Super cool animals, and awesome family!

2- Welch, WV. Steve served here for 7 months. I started feeling slightly chlostrophpobic after just a few days. But it was awesome to see where Steve lived for so long and meet some of the people there. What an awesome place!

3- Washington DC. We had tons of fun seeing all the monuments, some museums, and spending time with some of both of our families in VA. We even met up with Dani and Kelly to do a temple session in the DC temple. Beautiful!

4- Kirtland, OH. We only stopped here for a couple hours on a Sunday night, but we got to tour all the buildings but the temple. A very neat place.

5- Waukesha/Milwaukee, WI. We stopped here to see Stacey and meet Brian. Awesome! We are both now quite in love with Milwaukee. Neat City!! We had TONS of fun here- It was one of my very favorite stops. Stacey took us to the Wisconsin State Fair (AWESOME!) and to a Brewers game. (Also awesome!!) Thanks guys!

6- Nauvoo, IL. Fabulous. I wish we had more time here. One of the most beautiful locations I've ever seen- gorgeous river, beautiful little valley, perfect. And the temple. Breathtaking.

7- Logan, UT. Home. It was fabulous to travel- but I was very happy to get back home at the end of it all. :)

Yeah I'm glad you liked your time in Milwaukee! It sure was fun to have people from Utah come visit me. Your trip looks so fun too, I would love to travel across the country like that!
