May-June...

This summer has been fabulous! Steve and I have been out living life, and not finding too much time to blog about life. But... now we're back and starting to settle into a routine again, so I suppose I should blog about our summer. The entire summer. But I'll just start with May-June...So- here's the game. I'm going to go through our folders and pick 1-4 pictures from each folder that describe something that happened. Then I'll tell you all about it. :) Sound fun? Great! Here we go!
Flashback- all the way to May! May 30th actually. My parent's anniversary, and my family's 6th anniversary! (from our temple sealing!) :D
Not a great picture, but we got to go to a VIP tour of the new Oquirrh Mountain Temple. It was absolutely fabulous! Our small little group of 8 had our own tour guide and it was absolutely beautiful! I love the temple!! Not to mention the fabulous lunch and free Mormon Tabernacle Choir cd they gave us after the tour... :)

Now, jump to a week later- June 7th- My Grandma Wride's 84th birthday. My mom told her they were inviting her to dinner... just a small affair with my parents and sisters. She made a big deal that I couldn't come up because we were so busy getting ready to move. But instead, all of her kids/grandkids who live in Utah came up to my parent's house to surprise her! (Including us... you should have heard grandma scolding my sister..."You lied to me! You said they weren't coming!) haha! Anyway, I was the one with the camera, so I suppose I should put these pictures up for my familial members. :) And I suppose now is a good time to see if I can figure out how to add video, because I did take a video of us... quietly saying surprise... so we didn't scare her too bad... :)

The week before we moved we went to visit our good friends Raj and Ranjeet. Their son Lucky and his wife Kayla were there too. It was great to finally meet them! What started as a quick visit quickly turned into dinner, and we had a great time with them!

Also right before we moved, Steve's brother Nate and his wife Monica had their first baby! We were lucky to get to meet her before we moved far away! She's almost 3 months now, but here she is in her first few minutes of life. Cute huh!

The next day Steve and I got to go with my family to a Bee's game... in a suite! Yep. They started selling tickets much cheaper than what season holders paid for theirs, so my dad called and complained and they gave him a suite for a night. And it was awesome!

And now to the big move! We moved on June 18th. We packed up everything in Spanish Fork on the 17th, in the pouring rain... blah! And then spent the night in our sleeping bags in the living room. My mommy came down to help us the next day as we finished cleaning, and then drove up to Logan! Hurrah! It was a great drive, and we had tons of people come and help us as we were unloading. Aggie Village really is a great place to live! What fabulous neighbors! So, here are a few shots of the chaos that was our house before we moved. :) And I'll get pictures of our new place soon... :)

On the 25th of June Steve and I went with my Grandma and sister Maggie to the Andre Rieu concert at USANA ampitheater. It was Awesome!! I quite like Andre Rieu, and I've grown up watching his concerts on tv at my grandma's house. So it was pretty exciting to actually see him live! The tickets we had were for our own suite, and included a fabulous dinner before the show. And during the Blue Danube, Steve and I got up and danced! (It's tradition to dance during that piece). We were some of the only ones in our area, so we got lots of applause... even though we weren't fabulous... :) Unfortunately, my sister has that picture, so I'll have to steal it from her. :D Here are some other fabulous pictures of that marvelous night! :D
