Moving

Bleh. I am supposed to be packing at the moment, but I'm sick of it. So instead, I'm going to write here. :) My boxes are filling up very quickly...and I'm hoping I'm organized enough. I hope nothing breaks, and I hope none of the boxes are too heavy. I don't like this moving business. I'm very excited to be in Spanish Fork! But I wish I could just wave a magic wand and it would all move itself! I think unpacking will be a little more fun, because I'll get to decorate our new apartment too!...but I don't like the packing part.
Anyway- here's some other fun stuff that makes me happy! I think I can graduate with University Honors!! I've been an active member of SUU's Honors Program for the past three years, and I realized this summer that I was 5 credits and a thesis short of graduating with honors. But I am pretty sure I can do it now! I registered today for the Honors Thesis class next fall, and I need to start on that right away! I'm going to write a reflection journal of a first year teacher. I have to do something like that for my supervisor anyway, but this one's going to be more aimed at future teachers. I am going to write part of it now, part of it after all my meetings but before school starts, part of it after about the first week of school, and the last part after about 2 months of school. I'm super excited! I think it will be awesome!! But that's my happy news of the day. I have Loved the honors program here at school, and I've been a huge part of it! I worked for them for 2 years, and I have gone to tons of activities and helped plan a good chunk of them. I love it so much, it's a good feeling to think that I can actually graduate from the program.
On another note, I'm gaining another sister-in-law this friday! I'm really looking forward to Monica and Nate's wedding! It will be the first wedding I'm actually somewhat involved in since my own. And I'm looking forward to having Monica in the family! She's awesome!
Well...hopefully tonight I'll remember to get the pictures from my hike from steve and onto the computer. I really want to blog all about the Narrows...and what an awesome and difficult experience that was! But I'll wait until the pictures are available. So...be alert- post coming!!
