Since it's been a while, I thought I'd quickly go through my pictures and pull out some to quickly document some of the things we've done in the past 8 months (not necessarily in order)... since I've been pretty horrible at blogging. So- since we have been home from Hawaii, we...
1. We took the long way from Cedar to Laramie. We cut through Colorado, and found this cool rock. It took a very long time to make the drive, but it was fun to see parts of the state that we weren't as familiar with.
2. We paid a visit to the Denver aquarium.
3. We celebrated Steve's 30th Birthday in Denver. My parents came to visit, and we spent 2 nights in Denver. The first night, we went to a Rockies game. Then, on Steve's birthday, we made our last visit to the Denver temple. That night, we saw Wicked. It was absolutely Fantastic!!
4. After we got our new awesome Honda CRV, we spent some time this Summer enjoying the area around Laramie. We drove up to the Snowies-
and out to Lake Hattie-
and to Rob Roy Reservoir-
5. We finally spent an afternoon hiking around Vedauwoo. We didn't go on any particular trail, but we did find some HUGE boulders that we spent the afternoon climbing on.
6. Along with Steve's parents, we drove up to the Black Hills of South Dakota. It was so much fun! We stopped at Mt. Rushmore, Jewel Cave, and Deadwood.

7. We made a trip back to Utah for Corry Family Reunion. We participated in the hike, as well as other Family Reunion events. Unfortunately, most of the reunion was very rainy and foggy. Although it was fun to watch the final horseshoe competition take place in several inches/feet of mud! (*Video HERE)
8. Steve and I visited Martin's Cove. I had been there before, but it was Steve's first time.
9. After our trip to Martin's cove, we were feeling more ready to be Ma and Pa for our stake trek. This was our last weekend in Laramie, and we had so much fun! We were asked to reenact the story of Jens and Elsie Nielsen. It was a really great experience, and my testimony was strengthened as I learned more about her and reenacted pulling Steve in the handcart up the hill. What a strong woman!
Go Chislett family!
10. Steve finally shaved his beard! After we got back from trek, Steve shaved his beard in several stages, complete with photos of each stage.
11. We moved back to Utah!! Hooray! The day we moved back, we also met up with Devon and Stacey for a wonderful dinner at Buca di Beppo.
12. We both started working! I am teaching 2nd grade at Snow Springs, and Steve is working at Windsor Elementary, Vineyard Elementary, and American Fork High School. (Yes...the American Fork mascot is a caveman...with a large club...)
13. Oh- and we bought a house! Hooray!!

Oh, Lindsey! It is so good to here from you! I love reading about your many adventures! (I absolutely LOVE the story of Elsie Nielson! She has been one of my heroes for a long time!)
Congratulations on the jobs and the HOUSE! :)
